What Comes Before

What Comes Before is the culmination of several years of learning different technologies and approaches to media, serving as my senior thesis, the final product of my four year track learning about Interactive Multimedia, as well as being my first foray into developing a video game (of sorts), independently.

For this prototype, I wanted to attempt to use several nontraditional technologies to create a level as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Some of the options I worked with included Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Character Generator, and Microsoft Kinect for Windows.  The project was ultimately assembled in the Unity engine.

Throughout the development process, I completed several phases of research, wrote formal proposals, created design documents and documented all progress throughout the development of the prototype.
